Joseph I. Zumpano, President and Managing Shareholder Joseph I. Zumpano,President and Managing Shareholder of Zumpano Patricios & Winker, received his Bachelor of Arts from Harvard College and obtained a dual degree in law and public health from Georgetown University (JD '95) and Johns Hopkins University (MPH '95). Mr. Zumpano's practice focuses on domestic and international health care transactions and regulatory matters, as well as complex domestic and internationalcorporate transactions. Mr. Zumpano represents healthcare providers, facilities and health insurers with respect to Medicare/Medicaid and other third party reimbursement issues, fraud and abuse matters, contract negotiations, licensure issues, business transactions, managed care matters and compliance with pertinent laws and regulations. He has also assisted hospitals, insurers, pharmaceutical companies, product manufacturers, physicians, dentists, and other allied health professionals in matters such as: drafting and reviewing agreements; reviewing managed care contracts; mergers and acquisitions; review and analysis of regulatory issues; compliance plans; peer review matters and licensure issues.
