ZP&W was featured in an article in the Ecuadorian edition of the Latin American publication, America economía. This article, titled Jurídicos por Tradicíon focused on the few legal practices, six in particular, that maintain familial roots in the main Ecuadorian hubs of Quito and Guayaquil. One of the six firms featured in the article is Macias Hurtado y Macias Abogados. This firm is run by three generations of the Macias family and in the article Mr. Macias Carmigniani, coordinator of ZP&W.s Satellite Office in Ecuador, expresses the importance of partnering with other law firms to provide clients (especially international clients) a specialized skill-set in particular areas of law.

The article discusses the impact US immigration policies have on immigration and, consequently, on the real estate, foreign investment, technology companies and healthcare organizations.
Jamaal Jones recently authored an article entitled “HIPAA Omnibus Rule Compliance for Physician Practices”, which was featured in the October 2013 edition of Compliance Today. The article discusses the potential exposure and limitations that Physicians and their Business Associates face regarding Protected Health Information (PHI) under the privacy section of the Omnibus Rule. Further, the article discusses patients right of access and other individual rights to their PHI.
